For several years now my daughter has been urging me to put all the things I keep writing about in a blog, but I have resisted the temptation until now, when another friend has said she thinks I should. The power of persuasion. Besides, it is as nice to share one’s creations in words as it is to share what one paints or creates. So here we go.
I was born in Colorado more than 3/4 of a century ago! That is a long time. I grew up in the States and came to Italy for a three-week work camp in the Cozian Alps. That is where I met my Sicilian husband, and where we were married in the following spring. I have never regretted my choice in life and life style. By now I’m not sure which is my country or my language, as I feel equally home in both. That is why I say two languages are better than one and why now I am going to give the Italian speakers some information.
Eccomi a voi, amici italiani. Viviamo a Terni, nell’Umbria, beati noi.
Mi piace scrivere i miei pensieri e voglio condividerne alcuni con voi.
Here is a photo taken in our kitchen, wearing the necklace of uncut diamond my girls gave me saying it has the same color as my eyes.
